Thomas Rainer
Thomas is a registered landscape architect, teacher and author. A leading voice in ecological landscape design, he has designed landscapes for the U.S. Capitol grounds, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, The New York Botanical Garden, as well as over 100 gardens from Maine to Florida. Thomas serves as a Principal for the landscape architectural and consulting firm Phyto Studio in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Craig LeHoullier
Craig is the author of Epic Tomatoes and Growing Vegetables in Straw Bales. A scientist by education, he developed his passion in heirloom tomatoes “on the side,” joining the Seed Savers Exchange in 1986 and serving as their tomato expert for decades. Craig was a featured guest on the NPR radio show The Splendid Table, and a recent episode of the Growing a Greener World PBS TV show focused on his work.
Dr. Robert Lyons
Bob is Professor Emeritus of Landscape Horticulture, University of Delaware. In 2008 he was named a Fellow in the American Society for Horticultural Science and the recipient of the Alumni Outstanding Achievement Award from the University of Minnesota, where he received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Horticultural Science; in 2014 he received the national Award of Merit from the American Public Gardens Association.
